AI x Real Estate: Just Getting Started
AI represents a generational opportunity for real estate. Here's a glimpse.
2022 was a breakthrough year for AI, and there’s a sense that we are just getting started. ChatGPT 4.0 is expected to launch this year and will be a marked improvement from its predecessor ChatGPT 3.5, which holds the record for getting to 100 million users in 2 months.
In the context of the built world, we believe AI’s emergence will cut through material use cases in real estate - a $50 Tn+ market and a key driver of the global economy - from search and listings to mortgages, architecture, construction and sustainability.
For one, it will transform how buildings are designed and conceptualized, giving architects and design studios a whole new array of tools at their disposal - powered by software that works alongside them, as colleagues.
To get started, we used Midjourney, a text-to-image generator, to visualize futuristic concepts of the built environment and the results are intriguing. Each rendering was generated in <180 seconds with their respective prompts listed as captions below every image. Take a look.
Stay tuned for our TechCrunch piece early next week that dives into this subject in more detail. Look forward to your feedback and sharing more with you.
